DCS students take a bite of The Big Apple

On October 4, Mrs. Wehrli and Mrs. McNally were finally able to take students to New York City to see the hit Broadway show & Juliet.  The trip was originally planned in June, but smoke from the Canadian wildfires forced a postponement. While in The Big Apple, our students started the day with a visit to Grand Central Station, where they tried out the infamous "Whispering Corner." Then, it was on the NYC Public Library for a tour. The group then enjoyed lunch and cheesecake at Junior's Restaurant before heading to Times Square. They also checked out Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum. Finally, students took their seats on Broadway to enjoy the high energy performance of the hit musical & Juliet, before it was finally time to head back home.
