Well, THAT was fun!
Once again, we showed that at DCS, it's all about community as we gathered on the football field to watch the nearly total solar eclipse. Sure, there might have been one or two too many pesky clouds getting in the way, but we had a pretty good look at a rare cosmic event. And did you notice? The snack bags (courtesy of the Deposit Teachers Association) had SUN chips, Starbursts, Milky Ways, Capri SUN, and delicious brownies with constellation sprinkles! And a great soundtrack over the loudspeakers (if "Sun" is in the title or lyrics, the song had a pretty good chance of making it onto the playlist!) Thanks to everyone who attended, and our great administration and staff that organized the event.
