DCS Elementary shares some joy with area seniors

It was a sweet taste of small-town life on Thursday, December 7, when Mrs. Scalise, Mrs. Stevens, and Mrs. Andresen took their Kindergarten and third-grade students just down the road to pay a visit to folks at the Senior Community Center at the Christ Episcopal Church in Deposit. The youngsters came bearing gifts: homegrown poinsettias and cards. They shared a few Christmas songs, a few hugs, and lots of smiles. We're grateful to the folks at the Senior Community Center for allowing us to share a part of the holiday season!
