Girls in Engineering Event

On Saturday, October 29th, eleven middle school girls went to the Girls in Engineering Event at Lockheed Martin in Owego, NY. They were able to do several hands-on projects, tour cool labs, and see helicopters. They met a lot of friendly women engineers and scientists who love the excitement and future provided by engineering. They had some fun learning more about science, technology, engineering and math in a warm, friendly environment, while making new friends. Pictured in front of one of the helicopters on site.
