My original plan for tomorrow was to operate on a 3 hour delay schedule. This plan required a lot of collaboration between transportation and maintenance personnel, as well as local officials. Earlier today I was notified by the Mayor of Deposit that the National Guard will be assisting the Village in snow removal from the hours of 7 AM to 7 PM. Despite efforts to coordinate the timing of the work and traffic patterns, it became obvious that we needed to close the campus because we could not guarantee the safety of all students in the Village of Deposit.
We appreciate your understanding with this unusual situation. We are hoping to be back in business on Friday. I will update you with information about the calendar for the rest of the school year.
