A Discussion of author Tim O’Brien’s book –
The Things They Carried.
This event is part of a series of presentations in our area organized by SUNY Broome and is part of the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) BIG READ national program which encourages the love of reading by helping a community share a good book. Tim O’Brien’s book is a collection of stories about the Vietnam War.
Leading the discussion will be SUNY Broome English Professor – Dr. Suzanne Shepard and her husband, Deposit Central School Social Studies Teacher Tredwell Burch.
Admission is free.
